Saints Of The West Rescue is looking for our next animal-loving teammate!
If your dream job involves dogs, getting your steps in, the occasional slobber-covered shirt, and making a real difference in the lives of animals… you might be exactly who we’re looking for!
We’re hiring for a PART-TIME Rescue Care Team Member, with the potential to transition into FULL-TIME for the right person!
What we need:
Must be able to lift 50+ lbs
Comfortable standing and being on your feet for extended periods
Large dog experience is a MUST
Must be comfortable walking and handling dogs
Self-starter who can see what needs to be done and DO IT
Motivated, hardworking, and dependable
Reliable transportation is required
Must be able to pass a background check
Must be 18 years or older
Most importantly… you need to genuinely LOVE dogs and care about their well-being!
This isn’t your typical 9-to-5. Rescue can be messy, exhausting, hilarious, heartbreaking, and incredibly rewarding — sometimes all in the same day.
You’ll be helping care for dogs who may have never known what it means to feel safe, loved, or wanted. The work you do here can quite literally change a life.
If you’re someone who can handle the chaos, celebrate the small victories, work hard without needing to be micromanaged, and would happily choose a dog over a boring office chair…
